Doodling
I like this article a lot. Particulary because I doodle very often! I'm always drawing on corners of worksheets in school and drawing different things. I think doodling is a very good way to keep your mind thinking. If I'm trying to figure out an answer to a problem I'll doodle different things that would help me solve the problem, similar to Virgina. I also doodle when I'm talking on the phone with people. If there's a piece of paper near by, I'll take a pen and start drawing everywhere. Also, I had to talk on the phone for a job interview once and I took notes and doodled things that would help me later in the face to face interview. I doodle very often when I'm taking notes in class, too. It helps me remeber what the topic of the notes was on and helps me shorten the notes by drawing a picture rather than describing it.

Free Post
Last night, I stayed up until 1-ish doing all different things for my iPod. I downloaded music, found new songs I might like and everything! I was finally satisfied with my results around 1:30am and downloaded close to 300 songs. I synced my iPod and was ready to go, it was charging and everything, so I finally fell asleep, waiting to wake up and listen to my iPod.
I woke up this morning around 7 eager to listen to my updated iPod in school.
I take it off of the connecter, and since I closed my computer, the iPod didn't fully charge. If that wasn't frustrating enough, I tried to listen to a song...what do you know, my headphones are broken! This was the worst because even though my iPod wasn't fully charged, it still had enough battery to listen to a good amount of songs. Finally, at the end of the day one of my best friends, Sean, came to the rescue! I told him my delimma today and he found a pair of extra headphones in his bag to give to me. This was awesome because now I'm currently listening to all of my new songs on my iPod. :)

Chinese censorship
I think that the Chinese internet censorship isn't okay. I think this because to me, everyone should have the freedom to do what they want (approprietly) on the internet and the government shouldn't have laws or rules to abide by that result in awful things if said laws are broken. I also think that the Chinese government shouldn't have the ability to check how many times a person logs on, or goes on a particular website. I think that they should only have control over illegal things like illegal music downloading or copying someone else's website (plagarism). Also, internet censorship causes a lack of information to be known for the Chinese. This is because they block individual websites like wikipedia. They also block Youtube which can also be helpful for knowledge, or just listening to music. In my opinion, this isn't fair to the Chinese and should be changed immediatly.

hacking
Hacking is when someone breaks into a computer and tampers with your things, like documents, firewalls, websites, ect. Also, it reprograms a computers so all of your things are gone or redesigned. It affects a web designer because if a web designer designs a website for someone or his/herself and a hacker hacks into it, they could lose all of their work and would have to start over. This could also affect the user because if someone goes to a website that someone designed for them, and it's not what they wanted they could sue the web designer if they paid him/her to design it. This is really bad because the web designer could have done everything right and someone could have hacked into it without the person knowing.
I think it's a very bad thing to do. I don't think anyone should be able to insert themselves into other peoples' business or websites. I don't really know why someone would want to re-program a computer and tamper with peoples' things. It's such a hassle to get everything back to normal and it's a waste of time.

free post!
Today seems like it's never ending, especially because even when school ends at 2pm, I have gymnastics practice at 2:20pm. I don't want to go to practice today at all. I compete beam for BHS gymnastics, and yesterday while practice my routine I did a roundoff and fell off of the beam. I didn't JUST fall off though, I fell off hitting almost every single rib on my left side. I'm pretty sure at least 2 are broken and the rest are bruised. Unfortunately, you can't "fix" broken ribs, you just have to let them heal over time. I'm still practicing today and tomorrow I have to do my routine infront of a judge, so she can critique it. I hope my broken ribs don't impair me in doing well tomorrow. At least I didn't break anything too serious like an ankle or leg! But it's still lame that it happened. Oh well, I'm going to get back up on the beam today and do my routine as if nothing happened...hopefully!

Apple vs. Windows
I prefer Apple rather than Windows. This is because Apple is much more advanced in technology and applications. Also, Apple's computers (Macs) are a lot better than Window's computers because the Macs are much faster and they also have better screen resoultions which makes images look much better. Apple and Windows also share good qualities. For example, how Windows has many messenger applications and a movie maker application and Apple has many advanced items like the iPad and iPhone. A poor feature of Windows is that it runs slow and it can get very aggrivating. Apple also has a downfall, and it is that it's more design based than data based. This means that Apple focuses more on how to improve the resolutions and image clearness rather than the updated versions of the actual application. Windows doesn't focus on the images and resoultion but focuses mainly on the data part of their items. Windows has excellent programs like Excell and Microsoft Word, but their graphics aren't as good as Apple. This is a good competition because Apple and Windows are kind of like opposites.
Apple was established on April 1st, 1976 in California, but wasn't incorporated until January of 1977. It used to be name Apple Computers, Inc for the first 30 years of its existance, but afterwards changed to just Apple because they decided to invent other products instead of just computers. Windows was created in 1983 through Microsoft. The first version of Windows was Windows 1.0 created in 1985. The second version of Windows came out two years later in December of 1987. Apple and Windows actually worked together to create "desk accessories" like calculator, paint, and a clock. These were available on the desktop or the main home screen on the computer.

New technology
The most innovative and new piece of technology out there now is the iPad. It is a tablet computer similar to the iPhone, except in computer form. It was created by Apple, and it is so popular that it sold 3 million iPads in just 80 days! However, the iPad can do many different things similar to the iPhone and iPod it only allows you to download applications approved by Apple.
I think it's very cool and amazing how someone could invent that. I don't think it will help the world in the future, but it will help people become up to date with modern technology. I haven't used one before, but I'm itching to try one! Everyone that has used one said they're unbelieveable. I do think it will become obsolete in the future, only because they are already coming out with an iPad 2. Technology is constantly advancing whether you notice or not.
